Every now and again I stumble across a skin care brand that I can’t believe I have never tried. The natural British brand I am talking about today is Yin Yang. Founded by Katie May in 1973, the Yin Yang name has become synonymous with creating pure, botanical skin care products that help to maintain and restore the critical pH balance of the skin – hence the tag line natural balanced skin care.

After reading up on the brands incredibly unique philosophy (which you can find here) and all of its 40+ years of history I just knew I had to try a selection of their products, so I decided to pick up Yin Yang’s Facial Travel Kit with the Rich Skin Food as the moisturiser option. Here’s what I thought:

Yin Yang’s Skin Cleanser 30ml (also available in 200ml size) – is a gorgeously gentle, mildly acidic cream cleanser that does a wonderful job at washing away everyday makeup, impurities and dead skin cells to leave the skin looking and feeling beautifully clean, balanced, totally refreshed and so unbelievably soft. I must also note as you massage this cleanser into your skin, it’s stunningly beautiful, sweet orange scent naturally creates the most amazing uplifting moment.

Yin Yang’s Orange Flower Tonic 30ml (also available in 200ml size) – Packed full of vitamins and pure spring water this moisturising tonic ticks all of the important facial mist boxes and some. Not only is it hydrating, balancing and toning, it is also a true feast for the senses. Naturally fragranced with Neroli and sweet orange oil this refreshing little number effortlessly lifts your spirits in a matter of seconds.

Yin Yang’s Rich Skin Food 30ml (also available in 50ml size) – is a dream product for sensitive skin. As the name would suggest, this luxurious, antioxidant-rich cream feeds the skin with goodness. Formulated with Yin Yang’s signature blend of wheat germ oil, carrot seed oil, coconut oil, soya protein and zinc pca this wonderful moisturiser hydrates, nourishes and protects the skin beautifully to add that all-important vitality back into the skin.

And last but by no means least this travel-friendly kit also comes with a really nice sized 100% organic cotton muslin cloth.
