Sales and Training
Two new faces have joined our team. Leila who is based in London and has already started in store support for Victoria Health and the Revital Stores and Rebecca, who lives in Shropshire and enjoys a successful career in the Beauty Industry and will be introducing Yin Yang to holistic beauty salons and Spas throughout the Country. Monica Savage, who has been involved with Yin Yang in some way almost from the beginning is helping with some of the training both in the UK and abroad, beginning with a holistic course in Spain at the end of January.
The Plant of the Month – Lemon Balm
This month I have been rather involved with lemon balm because I love it in my garden and am becoming really aware of its soothing, anti-spasmodic and relaxing qualities. Recent research has shown that it acts on the limbic system in the brain to protect us from external stimuli and shock. In these times of stress, which can be either mental, physical or environmental this lovely plant should prove very useful. Look out for lemon balm in one of the new Yin Yang products being refined for re-launch in early 2009.
Tess Burrows is taking part in the Amundson Omega 3
South Pole Race
Over the years Tess has found Yin Yang very useful on her dramatic mountainous adventures to spread messages of peace around the world. We are sending her the protective pHamino-Gold Defence Lotion and the soothing and healing Joint Cream with MSM. This time she is competing in the South Pole Race. It is the first race to the South Pole since Scott and Amundsen’s historic journeys nearly 100 years ago (Roald Amundsen arrived in December 1911, Robert Scott on January 17th 1912). Teams of 3 are racing on cross-country skis, pulling pulks containing all of their equipment, food and fuel over 426 miles. If you would like to find out more about how you can become involved in this exciting advanture and also do something positive about looking after our planet, you can take a look at her website www.teamsouthernlights.org or send messages of peace for her to distribute around the world to Tess Burrows, 1 Plumtree Cottages, Hammer Vale, Haslemere, Surrey, GU27
Christmas Greetings and very best wishes for a good and peaceful 2009
